Keta Diablo’s new release is classified as a ‘Sweet Historical Romance’, and the book delivers just that. Set during the early years of Minnesota’s statehood, amidst a conflict with the Dakota Sioux Indians and the onset of the Civil War, Sky Tinted Water is the story of Rory Hudson, a beautiful and spirited Irish immigrant, and Dawson Finch, a tall, dark, and handsome local with a complex and intriguing personality. Their very first meeting is one that neither will ever forget. They fall in love and soon learn that married life can be more complicated than they ever imagined.
Sky Tinted Water is cleanly written and filled with tenderness, tension, action, and mystery. Habitual readers of the genre will appreciate the effort and research that went into this well-rounded work. The author has a knowledgeable insight into the Sioux culture, and it shows. She also has a keen grasp of human nature and uses it to weave an engaging tale.
Ms. Diablo did not ask for my review but indicated that if I enjoyed the book she would welcome an endorsement, and she has certainly earned that! The full first chapter and a portion of the second are available for free preview at Amazon, a decent sample to try out the writing for yourself and get a feel for the direction and pacing of the story. I recommend that you take a look.

Thanks so much, Ginger, for your endorsement of Sky Tinted Water. As a writer, you know how much works goes into a novel (in this case two novels) that hopefully take the reader on a journey of enjoyment. We all strive to bring that to readers/followers. I’m humbled and grateful for your kind words and appreciate your thoughtful encapsulation of SKY TINTED WATER. You have been a joy to work with, Ginger. Wishing you tons of success on your own writing journey.
